My Inktober drawing, Day 10, Hope.This one is a bit more personal. She is sporting a hairstyle I was infamous for in high school. Messy, dyed black, and hanging in my face, almost completely obscuring my miserable expressions from prying eyes. Here she stands, clinging to a tiny bit of hope. A single candle, burning out, wax painfully dripping down her hands, but she won't let it go. Never will she give up that hope. A fitting entry into the prompt for today. Seeing as how today is World Mental Health Day. Don't let go of that hope. At times it will be the only light in the darkness. But it does get better. I am living proof.
