Color Pencil on Brown Paper Art

So, I saved all these sheets of brown paper from my shipments of comics I got from The Comic Swap in State College, PA (shout out! They're the best!)

I used to do a technique in art class in middle and high school called "Color Pencil on Brown Paper" and so I wanted to try that again. These are super thick and study and should hold up a lot of erasing when I mess up the sketch. However, the fibers tend to shred up on these if I try erasing any color pencil work sooo I'm gonna have to be very careful and plan my art in the light pencil sketch stage.

I'm gonna do a whole horror series. So, I'm laying down some sketches on these to figure out what I wanna draw for some Horror Film related art for Halloween. These will go with the Elvira and Beholder I already started sketching up.

I picked Freddy, Ash, and the Necronomicon. I might record video of the coloring process for these, and post them as speed paints!
