I’ve been getting serious lag while working on larger 3D models and high resolution art because my graphics card is … lacking that extra oomph. Sometimes, the programs I use will freeze up and the files become corrupted during saving. So, while it’s easy to begin a project, it’s getting harder to finish them. Whew! That was a lot of packing and moving. The entire website was just moved from one web host to another. The original web host was buggy. It’s a huge hassle and I got tired of it. So, this morning I was throwing the final touches on a page from the comics ... and I saved the high res work file before making a smaller image of it for the online comic. Then I closed everything once the web version was saved. When I went to open the work file again ... the save had corrupted somehow. Gimp destroyed the full piece. The only High Res version. :-( So, I'm currently starting over .... again. This time I made three copies of the work file. I save each one

A replacement power supply for the main PC has been ordered. It was supposed to be two day shipping ... but then there was the 4th of July. So, I'm waiting for the new power supply to come. I have a lot of new art that I was in the midst of coloring with GimpShop on the main PC so I'm having a hard time coping with the inability to continue working on them. Yes, I realize that this, the website going down or getting broken in some way, is a frequent occurrence. It's a frustrating pattern but it's all fixed now. At least for now. Alright, I struggled all night and all morning to restore the lost pages and information for the website. All of the pages are back and correctly linked. All of the older archived posts still need to be restored but to heck with that noise. It's definitely not a top priority at this point. The Artwork, Comics, and Flash Games are. Alright, I'm pretty mad here. I was told to use WordPress by another artist. Because in his words it would be so much easier to update and upload my work without having to constantly get into the code end of things and work on them myself. Well, guess what? THAT'S BULLCRAP! Now, I updated Wordpress and some of the plugins I had installed. And it broke everything on the website. Yes, Everything. Beyond repair it seems because the backups will not install! It seems with one of the last update of WP the links to the comic and art resources were not available for download. Some of the art was likewise down. It took me some time to go back in to each individual page to fix all the links. I have no clue how long any of it was down …. but it’s back up now. I’ve finally rewritten the way the Web Comics are viewed on the site. However it unleashed a whole new host problems on the back end of the website and some of the front end layout. I really don’t know how I’m going to handle it at this point since any reworking may take more effort than I can spare right now. This past Saturday was my first debut in any art festival/show. I’ve of course entered my work in art shows and hung my art in businesses before, but this was the first time I was sitting at a table selling and showing my work. It wasn’t exactly what I expected. Ok, in one of my last journals, I said I was pushing back a lot of my projects and going for something that will turn a profit. Which in the long run will help get even more projects done. I decided to make some major changes like WordPressing my site so that it will be much easier to maintain ... This means I won't have to build anything from scratch! Which took a lot of my time. ... Most of my time when not taking care of my kids and family. Yeah sure I can program a website in both HTML and Flash, but if I'm wasting my time building the website I won't have time for creating the content. Seriously! Even better, I can update my social networks and website all
