So, this morning I was throwing the final touches on a page from the comics ... and I saved the high res work file before making a smaller image of it for the online comic.
Then I closed everything once the web version was saved. When I went to open the work file again ... the save had corrupted somehow. Gimp destroyed the full piece. The only High Res version. :-(
So, I'm currently starting over .... again. This time I made three copies of the work file. I save each one and make sure they open before closing so if one gets corrupted, I have a fresh backup.
Yes, Gimp does have a backup history plugin. But. I feel safer doing it myself. As we've seen how automatic backups really work for me. Heh.
Luv,
Chrissy.
