I decided to go back in and digitally update some of my older art pieces. Here is Inktober day 10 from 2020, Hope. Again, I kept the overall design, just smoothed it out. I fixed the background so the lines were jagged as I originally intended but wasn't able to fully execute with sharpie markers. Now they're like like shadows creeping in on her. Her hair hangs in her face over her right eye, like mine did in high school. She's holding onto her little candle, even though the
My Inktober drawing, Day 04, Knot. It's been seven years today, since I lost my sister, when she ended her life. My heart is still tangled in knots and I can't untie it no matter how hard I try. Because of how hard this month is for me, especially today, I think this will be the last piece for Inktober I will do this year. I know. I haven't completed an Inktober yet! But, it's still too soon. There's always next year. Still Aching, Chrissy. #Inktober #Inktober2021 #InktoberC
My Inktober drawing, Day 03, Vessel. Another digital. A ship being attacked by a sea monster. "Release the Kraken!" Fellow artist Monster D, told me it "could be a boss battle I wasn't prepared for!" Chrissy. #Inktober #Inktober2021 #InktoberChallenge #Vessel #DigitalArt
My Inktober drawing, Day 02, Suit. I again went with a digital piece. I liked the idea of a skeleton in a suit, adjusting his tie. lol This one feels a lot like the Tim Burton style I was going with for 2020's Inktober Challenge. It makes me wanna go back and digitally redo all the previous challenge pieces I did for Inktober and Sketchuary through the last few years. It would give me an impressive collection of digital work, for sure! Just an idea.... hmmm. I do need to fin
My Inktober drawing, Day 01, Crystal. .... Yes, I'm going a bit overboard here. I'm making the art digital. I don't think I'll do all the art as Digital for Inktober, but I'll definitely try. Today's prompt is "Crystal" and I immediately got this image in my head. The image is described like "a video game cut scene, during a power up" by fellow artist Monster D. Chrissy. #Inktober #Inktober2021 #InktoberChallenge #Crystal #DigitalArt
I sketched out the fried fish basket Sally gives Jack in The Nightmare Before Christmas. I'm going with a Tim Burton theme for the art this year. It matches my Decor for Halloween. (Mostly Home Made!) I'm going to use Copic and Permanent Markers to draw and color the art. #Inktober2020 #Inktober #Inktober2020Day1 #Inktober2020Fish #NightmareBeforeChristmas #FanArt Chrissy.
