The Graphics Card Shuffle
I’ve been getting serious lag while working on larger 3D models and high resolution art because my graphics card is … lacking that extra oomph. Sometimes, the programs I use will freeze up and the files become corrupted during saving. So, while it’s easy to begin a project, it’s getting harder to finish them. This week the graphics card on my husband’s PC died. So, I offered mine for his gaming needs as long as he replaces mine in a timely manner. I simply asked that mine b

The Web Host Switcheroo
Whew! That was a lot of packing and moving. The entire website was just moved from one web host to another. The original web host was buggy. It’s a huge hassle and I got tired of it. The Work File Multiplication
So, this morning I was throwing the final touches on a page from the comics ... and I saved the high res work file before making a smaller image of it for the online comic. The Power Supply Holding Pattern
A replacement power supply for the main PC has been ordered. It was supposed to be two day shipping ... but then there was the 4th of July. So, I'm waiting for the new power supply to come. I have a lot of new art that I was in the midst of coloring with GimpShop on the main PC so I'm having a hard time coping with the inability to continue working on them. If, the problem with the computer isn't the power supply (and happens to be the motherboard as I've had happen oft

The Broken Webpage Paradigm
Yes, I realize that this, the website going down or getting broken in some way, is a frequent occurrence. It's a frustrating pattern but it's all fixed now. At least for now. It was hard getting the website back together. I was able to recover most of the posts and all of the pages from the backup file. Sifting through all that code and putting things back together piece by piece took me longer than expected. I added categories for the posts so you can check out the tim
